Porcelain Veneers in New Orleans

Porcelain veneers are thin, custom-crafted ceramic shells bonded to the front of your teeth — a proven way to correct color, shape, chips, worn edges, and minor gaps all at once. Designed around your face and hand-finished to reflect light like natural enamel, veneers deliver a smile that looks effortlessly, unmistakably yours.

◦ What Veneers Can Do

One treatment,
a complete transformation.

Few treatments change a smile as comprehensively as veneers. Because each shell is designed and crafted to a plan, Dr. Greene can address color, shape, and symmetry together — for a result that looks natural, not "done."

What They Correct

Concerns Veneers Address

Veneers are among the most versatile cosmetic options available. Dr. Greene commonly uses them to correct:

  • Deep stains that won't respond to whitening
  • Chipped, cracked, or worn tooth edges
  • Minor gaps between front teeth
  • Uneven, small, or misshapen teeth
  • Mild crowding or misalignment
Why Patients Choose Them

Beautiful, Durable, and Refined

Porcelain looks and behaves like natural enamel — reflecting light with the same subtle depth — while resisting the stains that dull other materials over time.

  • Stain-resistant, long-lasting ceramic
  • Lifelike, light-reflecting appearance
  • Comprehensive change in just two visits

Want fewer changes at once? Consider whitening, or explore a full smile makeover.

◦ How to Choose

Porcelain vs.
Prepless Veneers.

Both create a refined, natural smile — but they differ in preparation and reversibility. Here's a side-by-side to help you and Dr. Greene decide.

◦ The Gleem Difference

Why veneers are a design, not just a restoration.

Great veneers are equal parts planning and artistry. The difference is in the proportions, the shade, and the way each shell catches the light.

A Smile, Designed.

Veneers begin with proportion and light. Dr. Greene designs each case around your facial features and goals, then works with a master ceramist to craft shells that look like they grew there naturally.

01 / DESIGN

Lifelike & Lasting.

Porcelain reflects light much like natural enamel and resists staining from coffee, wine, and tea. Cared for well, veneers routinely last 10 to 15 years or more without losing their luster.

02 / PORCELAIN

Symmetry Perfected.

Because the shells are lab-crafted to a precise plan, veneers deliver even color, balanced shape, and reliable symmetry across your smile — the kind of consistency freehand work can't always match.

◦ Your Journey

What to expect with your veneer treatment.

Veneers are typically completed over two visits. Here's how the process unfolds at our Lakeview studio.

01

Smile Design

Dr. Greene evaluates your teeth and gums, listens to your goals, and maps a smile design — shade, shape, and proportion — confirming veneers are the right path for your case.

02

Preparation

A fraction of a millimeter of enamel is gently shaped so the veneers sit flush and natural. We then take a precise digital scan or impression for the lab.

03

Temporaries

You'll wear custom temporary veneers while the lab hand-crafts your final porcelain. This lets you preview your new smile and refine it before the finals are made.

04

Bonding

At your second visit, Dr. Greene checks the fit and color, then permanently bonds the final veneers, polishes the edges, and balances your bite for a seamless finish.

◦ Frequently asked

Questions,
answered.

01

How long do porcelain veneers last?

With good oral hygiene, routine cleanings, and sensible habits, porcelain veneers typically last 10 to 15 years or more. Porcelain resists staining and holds its polish well, so veneers tend to keep their appearance far longer than composite alternatives. Eventually they may need replacement, at which point new veneers are placed.
02

Are porcelain veneers permanent?

Because a thin layer of enamel is removed to make room for the veneer, traditional porcelain veneers are considered permanent and irreversible — the treated tooth will always need a veneer or crown afterward. If you'd prefer a more conservative, often reversible option, ask Dr. Greene about prepless veneers.
03

Do porcelain veneers look natural?

Yes. Porcelain reflects light much like natural tooth enamel, so well-made veneers are difficult to distinguish from real teeth. Dr. Greene designs each case around your facial proportions and works with a skilled ceramist to match shade and translucency for a result that looks like your own smile, only refined.
04

Am I a good candidate for veneers?

Veneers require healthy teeth and gums, so we treat any decay or gum concerns first. They're an excellent fit for correcting color, chips, worn edges, minor gaps, and mild misalignment. Patients who grind their teeth can still be candidates with a protective nightguard. During your consultation, Dr. Greene will confirm whether veneers, whitening, or a full smile makeover best fits your goals.
05

Do you offer financing for porcelain veneers?

Yes. Gleem Dental offers flexible payment and financing options to keep cosmetic care accessible. Our team is happy to review these during your consultation or on our Insurance & Financing page.
